Definitely not the ETFs you want to see leading the day in a bull market, except maybe $IYR. The VIX lead the day today as fear started to take place in the market intraday. I was contemplating moving back to cash this afternoon, but the Russell failed to take out the afternoon lows creating a bit of divergence between the S&P and the Nasdaq.
Gold & Silver led the way and held up really well throughout the day. Those weekly hybrid changes week over week proved to be actionable. TLT was also up another 1.8%. I’m thinking it may be time for the triple leveraged inverse bond ETF, TMV– I will be stalking an entry here. Here are Tuesday’s leading industries:
