Trading Using Algorithm Screens

Over the weekend, we introduced a screen page called The Blueprint inside The PPT. The page is divided into 3 sections: Oversold, Market Action, & Overbought. When the overall market hybrid score is screaming oversold, a score below 2.25, you look to the first column for ideas. When the market is overbought, meaning a score above 3.0, you look to the third column. And, throughout the day you can sort through the middle column to get a feel for what is moving in the market.

It was introduced in a Google page as a prototype, and can be viewed here. However this page will cease to exist in a few days as the iBC IT department is working hard around the clock to bring a more professional version to PPT members. You will only be able to view screens if you are a member, so if you cannot see the screen results, sign up today.

As far as the market goes, it’s best to be delta neutral. All that means is make sure you have just as many short positions as long positions, until we get a clean break. My top long/short idea is as follows: Long $APC, Short $SHLD.

Note: The PPT screens nailed $KWK this morning, a stock I highlighted over the weekend.

To add insult to Hove’s injury, “KRS already made an album called Blueprint” — a fact that Nas quickly brought our attention to.

SHLD chart is a thing of beauty for short sellers, I’m sure Tim Knight has a hard on.

    Rage–
You got the Go-Go Juice still on the PPT? That should screen some nice picks once we get the NYSE bullish percent below 30%, especially below 20%. The bullish reading is still around 40%, so still a little early to use it to it’s full potential.
