Going through my PPT scans the weekend I decided to search for strength after such a weak tape. This was a very short scan as hardly anything popped up. My BTFO screen, which normally produces 25+ stocks in a given day, did not produced a single pick. My top 500 screen, another one of my favorite screens, produced only one stock, one that I will highlight in a moment.
For the most part everything is being sold. The market closed near the lows on Friday, the Euro is crashing below 1.20, and all the jobs that were recently created were Census workers– ROFL!
With all that being said, there is one particular industry that I am watching, and that is Natural Gas. I think we all have been watching the sector after remarks from Obama on cleaner energy. And, with Cane season right around the corner, it make sense to build a position on further weakness.
I, myself, am already in SD (core position), and will be actively looking for opportunity within the sector. I will be doing more work on Nat gas over the weekend, but will leave you with a computer generated pick from my top 500 screen located inside The PPT:

There is no technical edge just by eying the chart, other than heavy volume pouring in, but The PPT algorithm likes it, so it is worth a look. Here is a look at The PPT Data for the company:

Did you see my post in the PPT about using ARD to get into shares of SD? Any thoughts? seemed to be trading at a lower level then the purchase price.
Just read it, would have been a great play to get in a few weeks ago on the dip.
I’m no arbitrageur, so I would just be guessing if I commented.
Gotcha. I’m deciding if I want to be in SD or not at this point. Assuming the deal is voted through the increase in cash of $2 a share makes it worth buying ARD.
