Fed is in an “emergency meeting”. Rates are being cut in the morning. Futures dont mean shit, at least tonight.

Did you ever make a baby with your wife last weekend?

    Mmmmmm

    We’ll see.

I will be out for the majority of the day. I’m taking a ride to the NO to watch my Saints put it on the Vikings.

Have fun watching the game, I remember probably the last time we played you guys when Tice was coach and Daunte Culpepper made a comeback, and he went for a 2 point conversion, and won the game. It was a great game, but we’re both completely different teams now, and I know the Saints will be hungry for the win, but I sure hope the Vikes win!

I must admit, the Saints are looking very good this year. They just need to get a couple of things together on defense.
I think this game all depends on whether or not our coach is smart enough to know not to try to play the Saints in a shootout. The Saints could absolutely KILL us in a shootout, But in a run the ball grind em out game, I think the Vikings certainly have the best of it with our run stuffing DLine.
Our coach should be doing his best to make it a slow run the ball game, and the Saints should do the opposite.
Brees is kicking butt, so a smart game plan would be to run the ball 30+ times with Peterson and Taylor, manage the clock try to keep it a close game, as long as possible and keep the Saints offense off the field.
Had we taken this approach against the Colts just a little more, they wouldn’t have had the time to comeback and win.
I love the Vikings, and think they have tons of talent on boh sides of the ball, but I’m so sick of watching our coach make horrible play calls and not adapt his play calling to the teams strength (passing the ball is not one of them).
I expect the Vikes to shut down the run, but they will certainly have quite the challenge defending the pass. I’ve never been more impressed with the Vikings pass defense then I was when we faced the Colts, if we can manage to play like that, we can win this one.

Did you see the “Madden Simulation” on ESPN.com? Saints won scoring 14 unanswered 4th quarter points to win 35 to 28.

By the way, is Colston going to play?

Giants put a huge whupping on the Shehawks today, 44-6. They are just not the same since they cut Sean loose.

Intersting note… they rolled up that huge score with no Shockey (of course) and with no Plaxico (suspended for naughty behavior). Intersting that they play better without their malcontents, no?

Colston is my home boy from Hofstra University (Lawng Island). My sister did a year there before transferring to the Point, and we played our high school football games on their field for a while.

Hixon looks exceptional… you know he was the guy who ran into that kid from the Bills who got paralyzed last year?

Colston needs to get healthy so that my fantasy team stops sucking big hairy balls. Like the Seahawks.

Alexander was a prissy little running back, who decided to stop playing hard once he got his fat contract. Julius Jones is actually doing allright; the big problem is defense. I could not bear to watch after a while…the Giants scored on like their first 6/7 possessions of the game and they were doing it with ease and big plays.

I haven’t felt this bad about the ‘hawks since Rick Mirer was our QB.
