VLO gave me a Columbian necktie yesterday. I thought it would break out after options expiration. If there is another big gasoline draw tomorrow it might finally go.
What’s your target price, if you don’t mind my asking? I started a position in TLM @ $19.90 but am tempted to start in VLO also. My main energy position is HK with hedge in DUG.
I will sell VLO north of $50.
Note: This is not a quick trade. This is a name i feel comfortable building a position in at these levels.

I also started a long position in commodities, namely platinum, by stealing catalytic converters from my neighbors’ cars. Good times!
RC – I own VLO/CHK, nice to see I’m in good company. Your post on Solar, what are your thots on SOL?! Reported amazing #’s today, beat estimates by 4x’s, raised guidance, did nothing today (ran up $5/6 past week). Once stabilizd I see north of @22, pushing $25 eventually. Greg.
