The light volume on FPP will make it difficult to get out.
GU volume picked up, anybody see that wall it broke through at 14.50? I think it will close close to 15.
Yea I’m liking GU as well. I was researching it and saw Cajun post on it and just went ahead and bought the damn thing. Nice little consolidation ridge leading to new highs, imo.
Hopefully all that volume at 14.50 will set up a new support base there….we should see soon.

Update: AMZN needs to make up it’s mind, my straddle appears worthless at the moment.

One thing I learned when VMW dropped 23% after reporting earnings Jan’08 is… Always wear protection, buy a put.
In response to the straddle/strangle options strategy the only way for you to lose is for the stock price to go sideways.
I don’t think that is a danger since AMZN has a beta of 3.33 ( 3 – 4 is volitile). Oh and if the bid/ask spread is massive, and if the delta is puny you can get hurt.
Again, not likely unless you are playing out of the money.
