I think price is a better reflection of sentiment. Stocktwits kind of sucks.
Speaking of sentiment – for the first time in a whIle – Stocktwits is bullish on NFLX going into earnings which is probably not good for the stock. For the three months before October 2014 – before it bombed big on earnings at that time- NFLX had similar price action to what it has had the past three months which is interesting and also – lime now – less short interest and more bulls. Also – me thinks it is more likely to surprise with bad international numbers and/or a guide lower on subscriptions than the other way around. That said – took a strangle weighted to the put side for earnings. A strangle because it looks set up for a big move either way so I’ll get the calls and puts but more puts since my thoughts are the move will be down.

I bot some more SNAP calls for this week today after someone bought a bunch of stock about 40 minutes before the close. It looks more likely to go to 19 than up, but fuck it, why not? 20.5 strike.
