I’ve returned from a weekend long journey to find a market that wants to explore higher prices. The chart we last reviewed on the Nasdaq held right where it should and that’s an important reference point moving forward.
I loaded up with some positions last week, as discussed…and am simply waiting for things to play out. It wouldn’t surprise me to slip into a grind here going into year end. Should that be the case, start observing top/bottom performers each day to look for correlations and patterns. That’s where themes will start to emerge for the monthly rotations we’ll be playing. Most of which we’ll highlight on next weeks Boot Camp.
Last week in After Hours with Option Addict, we did a retail top down…and I am really starting to like some of the charts that we focused on. I’m going to take a swing at 1-2 names this week. Got any names in that space you feel strongly about?
Also, After Hours with Option Addict members…I hate to do this, but we need to meet a little later than usual today. I need to push back one hour from 4:30 to 5:30 ET. We’re going to cover this weeks watchlist.

Am long NFLX Dec 122 calls, today was a nice entry point imo.
Been in this week’s call position since a few minutes before close last week Friday as might be seen by the comment a few minutes before close this past Friday.
NFLX always surges after XMas as the unwashed masses plug in their smart TV’s and get the first month free. Of course the first month free shows up as a subscription.
Then the accounts are cancelled and NFLX takes a hit.
This happened 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Frankly, with all of the competition, I don’t know why they are close to time highs.
competition but also separate. Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu are our generation’s HBO/Showtime/Cinemax. Each is about $10 a month and each have just enough proprietary content.

I always enjoy reading bearish stuff on NFLX. Its the cheapest form of entertainment in the world…they could quadruple monthly costs and its still cheap. Just wish I had held my position from 2003. Oh well. Fun to watch.

sbux, ford, juniper, intel….all recent OA trades that have now taken off. The OA cycle is onto greatness now. When the blog gets ultra quiet is the time to initiate.
AAPL is going to be a big winner because everyone here probably passed on it.
I am starting to get some stuff off, and starting to shop for more. I’ve only got one more week left on $SBUX so they may hit my ask this afternoon. And just closed $JNPR.
