2011 sucked ass. Coming out of 2011, 2012 offered a slug of awesome IPO’s ($VIPS, $PRLB, $NSM, $FIVE, $WAGE) that helped the market restore a little confidence and provided a little momentum to take everyone’s mind off daily market manipulation, coming catastrophic events, and everything else in between.
Check out the smokin’ hot IPO’s of 2016. Notice any pattern they’re following here? Base, rip, base, RIP. Are you playing any of this stuff? Good way to take your mind off the fact that the market is going nowhere and everyone’s losing their fucking mind.

I’ve participated in Red Herring IPO’s and buying stock in private companies that go IPO.
The Red Herring is Ok and not too risky but the private company stock is pure gambling.

TWLO won’t last past October. . . these ipos always fall back to the initial offering price sooner or later. Typically after only 1 or 2 quarterly reports, then the dust settles and you’re left with a SHAK-like looking chart a year later

I’m not shitting on your TWLO call. It was excellent. I’m simply saying that the run has gotten a bit long in the tooth. I’m sure you’ll be out way before it craters but people like @Dan don’t appear to understand how that works.
I agree. But there’s always that last leg. The one beyond reason. $PI and the other one just did it.

I see what u mean. It looks like a similar set up in the TWLO chart but you have to remember that it’s already trading ~100% higher than IPO intra-day prices. $PI hasn’t had a relatively rally to match the one TWLO has already.
Maybe an extra 20% can be squeezed out of it and it tops at $68.
But I’d start legging into a short right here
$75. Before Month end. They’re short here, which adds to the extra “umph.”

REN is also in the hottest of hot stocks category. Went 8 to 17 to 20 to 17 and now 22 in very short order. Looks like the first part of a second big run.
Sentiment is so bullish on TWLO, from what I see on my stream. Maybe crowded long, thoughts? Does this change how you manage the trade? (quicker to pull trigger on profit taking etc)
