90% of stocks on my grids here were in an uptrend even before the $SPX turned off its opening low. Think about that for a minute. The market looked like a short possibly, but stocks didn’t.
The $IBB was defended at the 68-69 level I mentioned yesterday. That was a very important signal here IMO, as it signals that the market is in a chase to play some offense rather than defense.
I’m watching $CRM, $WDAY, and $KITE.

Just pulled the trigger on an SQ Sep 10.
Small position in ALJ stock in IRA. Also scoping out WNR but not sure which acct or options/stock – see upside to 25 but may take a while. SN also looking interesting – quiet.
Finally a few CMCM calls – went with Aug 12s. Open order for some Sept 11s.
BIDU pretty coiled up here on the 1 minute chart, but I have gotten my hopes up too many times before…
I do think today’s low is the short term bottom for BIDU – would be fun if that stock started playing along!
It will do like most stocks – wait until fewer eyes are on it, then explode 20% in a week….
Glad I’m not the only one who wants to give BIDU a kick in the balls.

$AGN has been up but a decent volume pocket above here. May be worth taking a shot here.

on the cheapie list – VLTC looks like it has coiled up and getting close to a move.
Sold most of my $KMI calls for a 5 bagger. Held a little bit through earnings for a gamble at the very upper edge of that profile. Caught almost no premium into earnings if anyone’s looking to initiate, though pretty tough after this run.
I am holding – since cost basis is a nickle, I would rather gamble with the earnings than book it here…..I held my MSFT calls and it worked, looking for the same to happen here……
My batting average has been too good on earnings lately, I have to mean revert on my coin tosses pretty soon. Didn’t want to let the lion’s share of the gains disappear. Also it’s an account I manage more conservatively. But great luck to you!
yeah, I am letting my winners run here and betting on the volume pocket. If there is a big spike (5%) after earnings, I will take the money and run, or at least trail a stop
