How solid is the “short squeeze” thesis though? Seems to be the only point that Bulls point to is the mythical short squeeze…

Don’t forget everyone and their mother is also screaming “we are oversold” as well. Indeed, the water is fine Bulls. Jump right in Hehehehehehe

      PS
This morning’s limp bounce served to shake off those oversold conditions. This is textbook downtrend stuff. Will close at lows of day and down hard next week

As posted on Raul’s blog first thing this morning, buying a chunk of weekly SPY puts out of the gate was another gift. Tic Toc

going to be a wild close, rug pull or big rally? No middle ground here IMO….place your bets or just get some buttered popcorn.

Twitter finally took a dip under $20. I think I mentioned on here some weeks ago a close below $20 may finally flip even the medium conviction guys off of it. I’d be looking to add a little extra to the position on a flush, even though it’s already a full position. That’s in the 5+ year account so I’m not too worried about the interim swings and I think there’s a payoff here someday for the extremely patient.

Hey OA – does the 1998 analogue still have merit?

As far as volatile equity prices, implosion in oil prices, strong dollar, volatile credit markets, asian currency manipulation, extreme bear markets in base metals, deteriorated and decimated market breadth and elevated levels of fear are concerned?

Or just the trend in equities?

Fucked up trading around TNA. Took the 2% mental stoploss. My basis on this go around is 53.

Money does not seem to be rotating into bonds either. Too slow a creep into TLT

So what’s everybody doing with their cash? Me, I’ll be waiting to buy the next 1/8 positions for my long term portfolio next quarter. And buying hedges against said stocks around their earnings

Oil: Still would take a shot during a market hour test of 32 or just below. That would put SCO around 174.00 and I would feed some to the ducks.

Natgas: Sold the remainder of my UGAZ at 2.90. Have a 1/4 position in DGAZ so I’m short.

    Good Luck next week.
