Since nobody gave two shits about my $WB post, let’s talk about some actionable ideas discussed in After Hours with Option Addict last night.
We picked up the topic of futures on Friday. Using a simple price/breadth divergence method, this has set up four trades so far this week in equities. One right off the open in the NQ worth 20 points!
This weeks trades: NQ + 40, NQ +0, NQ +20, TF + 3 (unrealized).
We’ll discuss today’s set-ups at the close.

I bot WB off the post
This market seems to have frustrated every participant (long or short). Reversion to the mean (market), and these tiny moves (in stocks) are killing options, what you make in delta is evaporated in theta. I’ve had some luck selling weekly’s against longer dated on pops.

I cared about your last post, just left my window up too long (thanks, day job!) and cemented my status as King of the Final Comment. The contents of my previous thought, to wit: I am starting to wonder if a good idea isn’t to short the euphoria small cap bio names ($TSRO, $HALO, $ARRY are my favorites on that front), and go long the bottoming names (holding $SRPT shares with my hand on the ejector switch). Feels like in this choppy market they could both move towards the middle.
bought puts in SPY and QQQ to go with other shorts. Feeling it.

Long a few May 9 AVP calls.
Took a yolo of questionable intelligence – $TNA calls – based on what we’ve been discussing AH, the $IWM relative strength and quiet $TICK this morning. Got fairly lucky — errr, strategic — timing on the entry (noticed the setup, and $IWM stopping the free-fall, at a red light and pulled over to make the trade).
Nothing questionable about that trade at all IMO. Breadth was screaming buy the dip this morning.
Hoping you’re right. Things getting unsavory in the $TICK department.
