Hate that shit. My biggest position by far, and I do mean my biggest position, was $RAD and sold ALL of it Friday, the day before the 10% move.

I freaking sold my Aug 465s for 3.50 yesterday after getting down under 2.00 and coming back. Today – freaking 23.00. I might have the worst timing of anybody on earth. Why couldn’t Carl announce this yesterday instead of today.

Haha, sweet! Bought Apple at 420 knowing it would go up, and 500 has been my target goal since I bought it, ICANN really sped things up, wasn’t planning on selling until early september, but with this news, I might sell tomorrow of it reaches 500.

Yeah, I could have pulled in over $70k too.
Got in on the 5th via Aug 23rd 500 calls. Still long, but sold further OTM calls to reduce my cost basis to $0. More upside with Icahn on the long side, in my opinion.
I sold this morning, felt sick, chased and bought. Good luck to me. My target now is 525, till then I’m not selling and will buy more. Any thought ??
Personally, that looks like an emotionally driven trade. I would think you have better than a 90% chance of losing money here…just my opinion.

Its possible for bad trades to be profitable. But you gotta ask yourself, if you took that same trade 10 times, how often would you make money?
I just thought with Ican’s voice and traded volume, more chance to go higher. Certain stocks and timing just don’t give us a chance to buy lower till done. Often time I stuck though, yes.
