Are we rooting for a bad job # or a good # ? I’m inclined to root for a whopping good number and get it over with . And that’s why I think the insurers (AIG) and the banks (JPM and MS are worth the price of admission .
For the bulk of those unemployed in this country, I am rooting in their behalf.
In the end, I am rooting for AMZN, NFLX, PCLN, AAPL, etc, etc, etc…
I like AIG as a long term play though. Totally agree.
You are a good guy to think that way , however , I believe most market participants will be rooting for a bad number .
A blow out number would cause a few hours of confusion , but by the end of the day we would be fine .
Yeah, I can spend time getting my hopes up, or trying to pre-think outcomes, but I find it wastes energy.
I’ll take whatever outcome and try to spin a few bucks.
