    You could stop doing environmental and labor arbitrage thereby increasing the wages and therefore attractiveness of these professions making it worthwhile to actually retrain.

    But then your shit would cost a little more, so who wants that.

      Some stuff would cost less, but for “free” trade agreements. They should be called trade agreements because that’s what they are. Rent seekers use these to keep their slice of the pie.

    my thoughts r that when eli whitney invented the cotton gin, it caused many to lose their jobs. now we have tech doin the same. in schools we dont teach what we need to. if children fail they lower the standards.
