Here is Rick Perry’s Plan to Create 1.2 Million Jobs

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry outlined plans Friday to dramatically increase U.S. energy production and create 1.2 million jobs, taking aim at federal regulations he said are strangling the economy.

Perry’s announcement at a U.S. Steel plant in a suburb near Pittsburgh came as the Texas governor seeks to shore up his campaign for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination after a series of shaky debate performances and distractions knocked him out of the front-runner position.

King candidate Rickui Perryamu today released his economic plan for Rapa Nui.

We are standing atop the next Rapa Nui economic boom –trees,” Perryamu said. “The quickest way to give our economy a shot in the arm is to deploy Rapanui ingenuity to cut Rapanui trees. But we can only do that if environmental bureaucrats are told to stand down.”

Perryamu sprinkled his remarks with a harsh denunciation of King Baracku Obamaui, who he said is responsible for “activist regulations” that have made it more difficult to cut arboral resources. Obamaui has favored statue-producing technologies that are not producing as many jobs as promised, he said.

Geez, why not just skip the clever Pacific Island metaphors and go directly to stealing Dr. Seuss’s “The Lorax?”

The metaphor is equally fair, and nearly as insipid.

Unclench the sphincter, Jake. This was all for fun.

I never imagined somebody would think it unfair of me to associate Obama with statue building while associating Perry with use of natural resources. I’d switch the names around for you, but that would kill the laughs.

it might do one of these candidates who are serious about energy jobs,to hook up with the T.Boone Pickens plan. BUT, that just might be 0’slumlords’ ace up his sleeve,of which i hope,he is too stupid to use, and that one of the repuds picks up on.

Of course, we were well on our way to denuding the entire U.S. before the discovery of petroleum’s near miraculous efficiency.

And despite Suess’s great anxieties, we’ve even more Truffula tree acreage extant than we had in 1800.

Imagine his horror if we had to triple-axe hack them all down in order to plant enough 900 ft windmills to operate our thneed mills?
