The rebel leadership is going to get the money from the oil and then fund another evil dictatorship. The middle east will never have real democracy or a normal way of life. Also, how stupid do you have to be to decide to live in a fucking desert before oil was ever found or needed.

Take a look at Israel. Agriculture, technology, etc make for the same ways and means for Arab states.
Oh, well I agree with that completely. I don’t even consider Israel a part of the middle east as they are democratic, innovative, tough and rational. I don’t think they should even be compared with their neighbors. Let’s just hope these really are democracy driven demonstrations and once the rebels take power they do something good with it.
