If You’re Not Playing the Wuhan Virus in the Market — You’re an Idiot

People keep asking me if I’m shorting stocks because I keep posting news about the Corona Virus. Umm, no, I would never presume a virus could rock markets for more than a few days and even if it did — why would I sell short when I could make so much more in virus stocks?

Let me explain to you the type of person that I am.

I bought NNVC at $3.67 two days ago and still hold it, steadfastly. Do you know why I do this? TO BANK FUCKING COIN you faggots. While you sit there buying RAW COMMODITIES into the teeth of a burgeoning pandemic, I’m buying an ARRAY of stocks gapping the fuck higher into the sky and then the moon.

That’s who I am, pal.

Inside of the hallowed halls of Exodus, we are simply scouring the market by company profile, cross referencing with volume and price movement and riding the wave. Whether this ends well for me or not is immaterial. What’s important here is that I am a player — a man during this place and time who is willing to place his balls onto the table and speed chop carrots.

Also, my Quant is higher nearly 7% this month, spearheaded by a 2% gain today thanks to EHTH.

I don’t know if WHO has any political baggage but they have waited until absolutely clearly needed to raise the alarm state so far into this. So I guess the weekend could bring suprizes to be digested Monday morning on Wall St…

A deadly pandemic affecting the global economy? Nothing a little Central Bank money-printing can’t cure…

Looks like Mr Trump has involved himself in the FAA, nothing more than expediting I would imagine. BA is a homegrown problem, nowhere but the mirror to look into there.

Plenty of yellow flags to be concerned about. Conditions will need to get much worse before the Fed steps in. Sub 1% GDP perhaps next week? Crashing yields, rising Gold, a mad dash to the USD – None of those correlations make any sense. Best guess, a deflationary event is on the horizon. Oil crashing, Copper Crashing, I don’t expect Gold and Silver to hold up much either in the event of deflation. The Dollar continues to rip, until the Fed steps in and bangs their gong via rate cuts and additional repo ops. You may have 1 more opportunity next week to get the fuck out of the way, but conditions are deteriorating significantly. Best of luck.

Enormous balls doubling down on virus plays while everyone thought the Corona virus story was dying down, Mr. Fly.

Doubling down on safety dividends like telecom and consumer staples. Earning steady income never felt better.

Thank you Fly for calling me an idiot, etc. Twas the wake-up call i needed to get the nuts to pull the trigger on NNVC on Friday Jan 24th. I banked more coin on that than i have netted since july, meandering thru leveraged/inverse index & commodity ETF’s. And i did it with less capital at risk (5% stake with 60% reward vs. 25-50% sized positions booking considerably smaller gains & uncomfortably large losses). FWIW, i averaged down to 8.38 basis & sold the open Monday for a 14.00 fill on a 13.90 limit order. I’ve learned an invaluable lesson or two (or three, or more!) about money management, position sizing, trade selection & execution. This should keep me from blowing up my accounts like i’d done in the past trading e-mini futures. I think that your Exodus screens for quality movers-in-price with volume will be key to trading success. In gratitude, a raunchy joke for the fish-meister…

Q: What did the blind man say when walking by the fish market?

    A: Helloooo ladies
