The audacious move for the 12631 Trading Room inside The PPT service here at iBankCoin to hop in the FASMobile (FAS, the triple-levered long ETF for the financials) has been offering up some solid returns over the past few days. As I have been discussing, the fact that financials had become so obviously despised, combined with awful charts and price action, forced me to examine the contrarian case. Generally speaking, I do not embrace contrarian thinking nor levered ETFs. That said, knowing when to break the rules is important as well.

The financials have been leading us higher over the past few session, which should put you on watch for a change in character that lasts longer just a couple of days. I am watching these much-maligned banks to see how sustainable this move truly is.
