We have seen some decent holiday trading this week, but a key element had been missing unil today. Usually, the small caps emerge as a hot pocket of long-side speculation as festive active traders take full advantage of the bears backing off the gas pedal, by pouncing on the highest beta plays. Unlike the past few days where the market was moving higher but doing so without much hot action underneath the surface, we are indeed witnessing that small cap orgy today.
That said, there appears to be little rhyme or reason, on its face, to which issues are moving and why. Inside 12631, @RaginCajun is literally leaving our members speechless with the day trades he is crushing, including ripping over 20% out of $FFN today. RaginCajun is the best instinct trader I have ever seen, and days like today show why 12631 membership is at all-time highs.
Possibly some foreboding action in GDXJ.
Actually, that’s just the adjustment from today’s dividend payout.
