The Monday morning gap up quickly reversed, leading to a grand chorus of “Ah Ha! I told you this was 2008,” from our ursine friends regarding the back-and-forth from game-playing politicians in Washington. While this morning’s volatility has probably been enough to rattle the overwhelming majority of market players, it looks to be nothing more than a quick shake at the moment, as the market has stabilized over the past hour or so.
I would also be remiss if I did not point out that virtually the entire gaming sector is acting well today, with MPEL leading the way in front of LVS MGM WYNN.
