Regardless of whether or not crude flatlines or goes up from here, energy stocks will be a core area of my focus this weekend while looking for trading ideas.

I have no idea how good they are, but the guys who dabble in commodity futures are saying crude should break $100 in a couple of weeks here and that the 50% fib retracement is $103. Sounds good anyway.

Any and all dips should be bought. I’ll admit it was tough, but back in late June I held my breath and added at just a smidge over $80 (stamped in the PPT). When it clears $96, prepare for the real move.
