It is easy to lose your patience and attention span while exclusively daytrading. In reality, though, the edge that the overwhelming majority of individual traders can have comes from rigorously practicing sound methods as a swing trader, holding for longer periods than just a few minutes or hours. This is especially true with the amount of HFT’s that dominate trading nowadays.
