I’m no expert (not having been in Germany when the Nazis came to power), but there are obvious differences between Americans now and Germans then:
– The average German male faced a draft and so faced death from the actions of their government and the conflicts in which they were engaged, while Americans send the ignorant and the poor to fight for them;
– Germans faced severe penalties if they spoke against their own government, while Americans are cowed merely by fear of being politically incorrect if they question our mid-east wars and the influence of Israeli expansionists in our war mongering;
– Germans had a hard time getting information because their Nazi rulers had tight control of the media and burned books they did not like, while Americans can easily get beyond the MSM BS via the internet …and can easily access listings of books banned (burned) by Amazon …they just don’t care enough to do so.
But one area in which we are similar to the WWII Germans is that the average German saw themselves as the good guys, even as their government committed evil in their name.

President Trump eliminated the senior military leader of terror in The Middle East. Instead of applauding him, the far left extremists look for a way to undermine and insult this achievement.
