Just more dirty politics but overall this will be just one more stain on our shitty political system where there are no term limits on our Congress and big donors like Sheldon Adelson and George Soros can directly buy politicians thanks to the terrible Citizens United decision.
All this shit has been going on since the beginning of our political system, and well before that, and will continue to happen under anything new. It just gets politicized to the extreme and even beyond that now by party lines. It reminds me of the agricultural groups who supported Trump but are all up in arms about the cuts to USDA under the new proposed budget. Such small minded tribal thinking.
Yawn. This basically says that the Steele dossier was financed by a bias source, so should not be used to get a FISA warrant. However, this memo *implies* but does not *claim* that the Steel dossier was the SOLE source for the FISA warrant. If it was, then I’d have a problem with that. Of course, Trumpsters will draw that conclusion, becuase facts and logic aren’t their strong suit.
Personally, I do not think that the FBI and FISA courts are so corrupt and/or imcompetant that they would rely on a memo that calims – among other things – that the President was involved in a golden shower.

McCabe testified to the Committee that no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier. Pretty conclusive if you ask me. Or are you suggesting that McCabe perjured himself?

If the Republicans were smart, they wouldn’t have released the memo. Think about it:
1) Republican “Intelligence” Committe members and other in the House said this was a smoking gun about DOJ corruption
2) Democrats on the “Intelligence” committee raised a huge ruckus, implying that they were afraid of what the memo said ,further legitimizing the contents (big mistake)
3) FBI didn’t want the memo released
If the House Repubs had not released it, they could have continued their claim that the memo was a smoking gun, with the Democrats unintentionally backing them up. The R’s coudl say
“Even though this proves corruption, we wanted to protect the FBI and our intelligence agencies, so we didn’t relase it.” People would have been left wonderign waht the Democrats were so afraid of, thinking that there was something new and significant in the memo (even thoguh it is old and insiginficant news).

This is all part of an elaborate set up that is leading to (1) the end of Rosenstein followed by (2) the end of Mueller (under the sword of Rosenstein’s successor).

Oh it’s part of an elaborate set up all right. In parallel with the release of this memo is the Senate Judiciary Committee sending a criminal referral to the Justice Department, Inspector General Horowitz releasing a 1.2 million page report on Obama’s DOJ/FBI to the House Judiciary Committee, and the FBI in Little Rock reopening an investigation into the Clinton Foundation on Jan 5th.
Obama apparently ‘lawyered up’ on 24 January. And this is just what we’ve been told about so far.
Might note that Horowitz was appointed by Obama and worked under Comey at one time, but reportedly was muzzled by Obama while trying to carry out his duties – especially related to Fast and Furious and Operation Castaway.

Some of these MS13 dudes being rounded up might actually be informants who can shed light on the covert gun smuggling operations of Operation Castaway. There is a lot going on under the surface at the moment.

The Russia (hoax) investigation rests upon the FISA documentation. The FISA court produced a 99 page report condemning the DOJ and FBI. Without this FISA case, there would be no Mueller. Note the following:

These clandestine, deep state courts are as corrupt as the deep state and its actors themselves. It’s all a charade. Frankly, I am surprised nobody has been suicided yet.
