Mylan CEO: THE HEALTHCARE BUBBLE IS GONNA BLOW

I must admit to being wantonly entertained by this woman, hemming and hawing on live teevee, trying to spin an unspinnable yarn. Sully tried to take it to her, but ultimately failed in making her look like the absurd caricature of the human being she really is.

She likened the current state of healthcare to the mortgage crisis of 2007, suggesting in simple terms that it was going to explode and turn this great steak’d nation into an apocalyptic wasteland ruled by centaurs and flesh eating goats. Ultimately, she’s pissed off that Obamacare doesn’t pay for her absurdly overpriced drugs. She cites her list price of $608 as being something never intended for the retail customer. I guess it was meant as a joke that was accidentally taken serious, like someone at Macy’s forgetting to put a 40% off sign over the rack. However, she never really justified why in the world that price is at $608 to begin with, only that she’s dismayed that people are bellyaching over their fucking insurance plans not taking tax payer dollars and tossing it at Mylan, so that she might ingratiate herself with exorbitant pay hikes so that she might build giant statues of herself, in front of her sprawling estate.

the pricing for healthcare is ridiculous, no doubt. it’s a funny game trying to get from the gross charge down to the actual charge and payment.

Did you hear her? A seven year old girl in Virginia died because there was no EpiPen at the school in the girl’s name.

Would it have been too much to use a pen not in her name to save her life?

There’s a real story in there somewhere.

That was just a bunch a blabble. Does she speak english? Nothing made sense at all what she was saying. I am frustrated that I set the price at $608. Does that mean you would like it higher? Are you frustrated because you can’t make a profit at those prices? I am not understanding you bitch.

First Aid / CPR class at work. They always pass around a fake Epipen so we can practice. Last year the teacher accidentally passed out a real live one and some poor girl blasted it into her leg, LOL. We had to take her to the emergency room.

It’s for R&D.. did she learn nothing from Martin? You must say it’s necessary to research up and coming drugs and to help people. Not “Thanks Obama”

Again.. so far removed from reality she had no idea how regular people live. She flies around in Jets, with gold silverware, looking at numbers.. never been inside an actual big box store in decades.

The problem is.. as I see it .. we are finding more and more of these upper echelon people that are clueless about the world around them. Nor do they give a crap about the people they serve. They merely want to ensure they get out of there in time for the next adventure.

At Macy’s someone might decide $608 for a sweater, however cold it might be, is too much and leave the store and find one just as warm elsewhere for eight bucks. Only Macy’s could get that cost down, but what incentive do they have when the incentive to buy something is that it is the only thing that can stop them from dying?

It’s a silly story, but hopefully it shows that the best way to lower costs to end users while preserving one’s dignity is to cut the price down to an affordable level.

And who sets the “list price” ….Satan ?

As a female CEO she should have at least worn a burkini or at least covered up those arms.
