BATON ROUGE, La. – Three officers have been killed after as many as seven were shot in Baton Rouge Sunday morning, according to a CBS reporter who is in Baton Rouge and who had been covering the Alton Sterling shooting and the ensuing protests.

Two hospitals in Baton Rouge are on lockdown with police guarding the facilities.

The officers were shot early Sunday – and – as of 9:30 a.m. a manhunt was on for the suspect or suspects.

A witness told WBRZ-TV that a man was dressed in black with his face covered shooting indiscriminately when he walked out between a convenience store and car wash across from Hammond Air Plaza. Police closed the streets between the police department’s headquarters and Interstate 12.

Regardless of silly trader chatter, the technicals are phenomenal for this recent iPO darling, with price breaking back above the 200 day moving average today. Here’s a look at the daily 9mo Daily chart:

Since the end of May, Crude has been rangebound trading between $44 and $52. The daily chart below shows the current range along with an inverse head & shoulders pattern that is setting up:

The weekly chart below shows the potential to be long crude should prices get back above $50/barrel. There is nothing but free air up above which should suck prices higher, should we trade up there.
