Finally we get the breakout in CTIC. I’ve been long this stock, for what seems to be a year, waiting for this breakout– I have yet to sell a single share.

My target price for this one is around $2.50. I think the stock could run right to Gap, which puts it right near the 200 day moving average.

Note: The biotech top ten video CA & I put together this week Owned! Just about every stock broke out from our price point. Good times, indeed.

I’m not that big into basketball, but when the playoffs come around I tend to get into it. It was fun watching LeBron do his thing, that kid is simply amazing. If he only had a team with a supporting cast there would be no doubt about a championship ring.

Back to stocks.

Let’s talk about Technology for a second. The sector is smoking hot and leaving positive data points everywhere you look. Technically, the sector looks great. The NASDAQ was the first sector to break above its 200 day moving average and is currently trading above it.

Fly’s pick [[OTVI]] looks set to rip after it’s earning report, the stock looks great and should do well with the release of the new iPhones. And, while we’re talking tech, how about [[GOOG]] here? It looks like it’s in a sweet spot and poise to breakout into a new trading range, I like it a lot here.

And, don’t forget to watch the action in Oil & Gas. I think we may see some momentum in Natural Gas, which should boost the group further. My top pick in the independent oils is [[SGY]]

SGY is one of the biggest players in the Gulf, and it also happens to be Chart Addict’s stock of the year. Pay attention to this one.

I’m curious to see if Natty can get moving here, just look at the move in [[UNG]] today. As you can see, we are sitting right below the 50 day MA, I move above that could spark momentum, which should give another lift to oil and gas plays.

Currently, I am long [[DXO]], [[WTI]], & [[XTXI]], but I am looking to add some more exposure to the sector. I’m also looking to add some more alternative energy names as well, I own [[JASO]] & [[LDK]], and will be looking to add [[GU]], [[WFR]], & [[CLNE].

I will be scanning the whole sector in oil & gas tonight, the sector looks ripe based on my preliminary scans.

I’m pulling for a LeBron/Kobe matchup in the championship so it’s good to see the Lakers win tonight. As far as the market goes, we’re still up in the last 3 days and the NASDAQ is still above it’s 200 day, nothing to see here.

Biotech, smallcaps, & commodities continue to be a nice place to hide your money. My holdings in Biotech are VVUS, NVAX, CTIC, & XOMA. In oil, I own a bunch of DXO and a smidge of WTI. As far as small caps, I will continue to watch for breakouts and feel like it is a great place to look for intraday trades.
