Can I get a band-aid?

A few of my strangles panned out pretty good. I turned a profit in the trade from Friday, but not like I should have. Congrats to those who held to the end of the day. The post “Big Move Monday” sure lived up to it’s hype.

Got to love this volatility.

I didn’t do much today, the only thing I added was National-Oilwell Varco, Inc. [[NOV]] @ 44.60 and another strangle in UYG.

Note: It just got worse afterhours, be careful out there.

…Back to the farm, I have some cultivating to do.

Today is a monumental day for The Cajun as he rode his first stock all the way to zero. So with that in mind, I bought a few more cows, stocked up on more water, and took Alpha up on the special he had– and bought a few more guns.

Just a few minutes ago I received a phone call from Art Cashin asking me if he could join me down here in Lafayette, I told him sure, but make sure to bring more guns.

You see, I need lots of protection, as I am hording all the items necessary to live. It won’t be long before a few bankers try to make a run for my cattle.

In other news, I did good, but not great, by selling most of my positions on Friday. AAPL is a pain in my side, but I refuse to sell. My thinking is this, “Hey, I rode one stock to the ground, why not ride another?”

WB hurts, but if you recall I made a double in the name last week when I rode it from 9 and change to $20. So I’m Just repaying mother market for the gifts she gave me (I hate that bitch).

In summary, not much on my end, just enjoying a beautiful sunny day with my cows.

If I had to buy 5 stocks tomorrow, based on the list, the following would be my top picks:

Feel like making a trade?

Here is a simple strategy if you believe we will see a big move on Monday.

Buy 5 Oct35 puts on the QQQQ @ 0.20 = $100

Buy 5 Oct45 calls on the QQQQ @ 0.20 = $100

According to my analysis, if the QQQQ have a big drop, say to $37, you stand to make around $300 on the trade. If the QQQQ’s have a big move, say to $45, you again can make near $300.

And, if there is a huge move (crash type move), you could easily catch $1,000 from the trade.

The way you lose your initial investment of $200, is if the QQQQ’s stay between $39.75 – $41.

I have no desire to play around with this market before the weekend. So with the proceeds I received from selling stock this morning, I went to my local gun dealer and loaded up on a few shotguns, simi-automatics, and a few glocks.

I also purchased a few acres of land out in the country where I will raise my cattle. I still have a bunch of water left over from the hurricane preparation kit, so I’m good there. If anybody need a place to stay just hit me up, but bring more guns.

Oh yeah, I also converted my remaining cash into gold bricks.
