Do Not Be Fooled

Halloween is not until Friday and today is Wednesday aka FED day. I expect, and hope to see stocks trade sideways until the meeting, I actually prefer the market to be down leading into the decision.

There’s no need for the market to fly at the open, this will only bring the sellers out, aka Devildog. So, we want the market weak right here.

Remember 9 out of 10 times the initial move after the meeting is a headfake so be prepared for it.

As for me, I will likely nibble on some more W&T Offshore, Inc. W&T Offshore, Inc. [[WTI]] and wait for it to “goose-step” higher. Then, I will wait for the FSLR’s report and watch it “goose-step”” in after hours. Then, I will go home and show the future wifey how one man’s account can Goose-step.

Remember, weakness is bullish here.

Oil, Gold, Copper, Silver, ect. That’s where I want to be today. A lot of the basic material names are still down huge, just take a look at this notable call on Southern Copper Corporation (USA) [[PCU]] . How about FCX under $30?

How about Ag, The Mosaic Company [[MOS]] under $30 anyone?

How about coal, [[KOL]] ?

Then there’s the independent oil & gas companies that I think are set to explode: W&T Offshore, Inc. W&T Offshore, Inc. W&T Offshore, Inc. [[WTI]] , Petrohawk Energy Corporation [[HK]] , Denbury Resources Inc. [[DNR]] , Petroleo Brasileiro SA (ADR) [[PBR]] , Devon Energy Corporation [[DVN]] , ect.

What about gold & silver: Goldcorp Inc. (USA) [[GG]] or Silver Wheaton Corp. (USA) [[SLW]] ?

Plenty or room for upside in the above names, and this is where I will start my search today.

I’m happy I was able to grab First Solar, Inc. [[FSLR]] today sub $100, thanks to UBS.

I’m happy that I’ve been buying Google Inc. [[GOOG]] sub $350.

I’m happy to be a part of such a damn awesome site.

I will be happy when this damn election is over.

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. [[ISRG]] has put in a nice base around 154.50. I may take a shot at going long here with a stop right under that base. Should the stock slice through that level, flip sides and get short in a hurry.
