Is Apple buying Tidal, Jay-Z’s streaming service? It’s uncertain at this time, but news hit after hours that Apple is in talks to acquire Tidal.
It is being reported that the ongoing talks may not result in a deal, but Apple is exploring the idea to help bolster Apple’s music service.
Tidal has strong ties to a few icons in the music business, including: Kayne West, Beyonce, & Madonna (just to name a few). This will be a huge win for Jay-Z if true, as well as give $AAPL the crown in the music streaming service.
