Just about everything is up this morning sans bonds. Is it time to short bonds via TMV? I’m thinking hard about it. Oil is trying to go red, and just can’t seem to get anything going, but there is still good action in oil related names.
My biotech basket is working well with ADHD up a cool 8%. BLRX looks just about ready for another run, and I took profits on the opening pop on $XLRN. Also, keep an eye on ARWR & ZGNX here.

Looking at UNG. it’s been slightly pushing red, but not falling through. It’s at it 5 year low, and it looks ready to move up.

Sir, when shorting a security with momentum such as TLT, do you: short once it close under a previous all time high. (Now), wait to break and retreat moving average, or another strategy. Thank you.
Not retreat. Retest.
I think now would be the ideal time as $130 failed. You also got the slow sto indicator rolling over. A break back to all-time highs would probably force me out.
If you’re a bear on TLT, why not go for the whole move? Keep a stop tight overhead and look for support (and a possible right shoulder) around $125?
