I told you the market would rip in my absence. It never fails since starting this blogging thing over 9 years ago. You would think I would buy out of the money calls on the $SPY after seeing this phenomenon time and time again, but I sit firmly in cash.
You see, I use to be that guy trading non-stop even while on vacation, but I soon realized it was immature, not to mention degenerate like. Now I handle myself like a gentleman when away, I completely unplug from this shit. Hard at times? yes, but definitely worth it.
I recommend everyone take some time away from the market at least once a year, it is good for the soul.
Now that I am back, this cash is burning a hole through my pockets, but I hate to go long after this run. $UVXY is tempting me here, but we all know that is a losing instrument.
