The latest models show Dorian gunning strait for the Gulf of Mexico, and I’m looking for the next $MILL like move in the oil space. Anybody care for a little $ROYL w/ cheese here? or how about some $LEI? If you really want to get degenerate, there’s also $MXC. I remember watching MXC spike from $4 to $50 in the blink of an eye.
You can always go the gentleman’s way and pick up shares of $VLO or $NOV. I remember watching those two move up $4-8 points a day in prior storms.
Now I’m not guaranteeing this will happen again, but it is something to watch. I welcome all hurricane plays on this post, if you got one share it. If this thing heats up over the weekend, a lot of these names will be in play– most will gap. Just something to keep an eye on.
