I think this bail-out will be good for a 2 hour rally at most. The problems that plagued AIG are widespread throughout the financial community; BSC, LEH and AIG were the first to fall because they were a little more extended than most others. But now that we’ve seen the carnage first-hand, the reality will start to sink in. We are in the 3rd inning on this thing. Remember that over 1,000 banks or S & Ls failed in the late 80s and the abuses this time are just as bad.
