You know the more I think about it…. how fucked up was it for a Denver bettor (me) to go inside the 10 twice and see the “The Vanderbilt QB” throw one right to the Chargers and then pull a George Plimpton roll out on the 2 yard line. I thought I was going to brown myself.
I know this is stupid and biased due to my geographical location but going for 2 seemed mildly unsportsman like, given the calls that just preceded it. I know I know play to win. Why not duke it out in OT, consider we would have won by 14 if it were not for blown calls.
Chargers had it revved up for sure.
But in Pro football OT is broken they need to go to some variation of college. The Rat knew if he loses the flip he is going to lose. In his mind this was his best chance to win pure and simple.
