Late last week, solar stocks started to ignore the market strength and pullback a little into the weekend. We discussed this being an actionable set-up and to look for opportunities to buy dips.
My two largest positions are in FSLR and SUNE, and I also have short term call option plays on them, as well as JASO. I added a July call position in SPWR this morning, and am watching CSIQ down here at support.
SUNE, FSLR and SPWR are your group leaders here, and should lead the TAN in terms of new highs. As they start to move, you should see many of the beaten down players in this space, like CSIQ, make good sized swings to the upside.
In other news, I booked my gains in DECK and the remainder of GMCR this morning, and bought positions in DDD, TSLA, and XXII.
I might look to book DRL and YOD here to make room for some new cheap stocks this week.

Well Jeff I am back completely whole. The good news is that I almost bottom ticked FB $63 calls this morning @.37…. By far the most profitable options I’ve saw out of High Beta! But I not TSLA and YELP calls a little to high. I was watching Solars this morning and also China. YY starting to show big time strength.

Yahoo says this thing has 40% sold short (3.79mm out of a 9.4mm float). The only major volume at price is $20 and then big holes until 22.50.
the macro rvw has been great throughout OA, way less trading, and patience for a lower vol environment is really paying divvies now

You made big gains, there’s always situations to the contrary with unknowns…selling a GMCR too late. Your wallet is substantially bigger after that AAPL trade. Chin up, let’s stalk the next big winner.
i know, you’re right. GMCR was intended to be a short term trade. AAPL was a multi-month deal. I thought the trendline from above was going to pause it at 640, and it did….i just didn’t think it would be a 1 day pull back.

OA I’m not going to lie I thought about canceling during April and May; damn I’m glad I stayed! FB calls were so cheap for a $3.50 move the profit yield was unreal. Livin life man and lovin options trading… For now at least til the next draw down…lol

My emotions are in the “anxiety phase”… So much GMCR gains last week, and I want more but I want to hold onto what I have. Plus… I have a number of weeklies, two of which are working (BAC,FB), but stressing me.
