The rest of the “stock” market may take a little breather here as we reset for the next devaluation of your crumbly-tumbly dollar (down another 0.6% as I type this). I wouldn’t get too worried, however, unless you are on food stamps or some other COLA-regulated form of government teat. Because be assured, your welfare state is not looking out for your welfare, even if you are on Welfare!
Yesterday, on weakness, I indulged — as per my announcements on The PPT, peace be upon it — in a double helping of additional gold stocks. I am quite full up on silver, though I may turn fat fingered vulgarian and grab a smidge more AGQ to take full advantage of any weakness. The stocks I added to yesterday were EGO and NGD. Some comrades on The PPT followed me, at even lower prices than I received.
Cursed be their names.
Today, I am looking at some additional weakness in ANV and IAG, and those would be where I’d alight first. I am also looking at AAU and IVN as “exotics” as it were. Royal Gold (RGLD) is also looking juicy.

The lurking comment hit my guilty conscious about being a former PPT subscriber (waiting for some work projects to clear up before jumping back in) and still visiting these parts of the interweb.
Hey Jake, do you have an opinion on HL? Or would you prefer to stick with EXK,SLW, AG etc… I was thinking of HL as a flight to relatively stable political mining companies. I didn’t buy today because I am trying to figure out if HL can move higher with how many shares it trades per day. I’m only long AG right now, and one small gold miner, so I am looking for increased exposure, but struggling with my penchant for cheap stocks and non-overextended charts.

Hey Jake, thanks for the tips, I have bought several of your picks which are performing admirably while others are staring blankly at their account balance. Question: Why does EXK repeatedly blow through 6 and then get all jinky when it gets in the $7 range?
Natural consolidation zone. It did this last at $3.50 and then $5. If you enjoy trading, you can make a game of it.
