Hi traders… I was fooling around with Flash and decided to make a video since I couldn’t sleep. Anyway, its very loose, uncut, unedited, with no fancy stuff yet. I just decided to record part of my desktop while setting up my trading platform for tomorrow. So, you basically just see me looking through a few charts. Anyway, here’s what I was trying to say throughout the vid…
1) Vix double spike “woke me up” to start searching for a possible relief rally. The Fed day was a good place to start as bears could run scared.
2) AAPL chart… screwed that up. I was zoomed in too much. Lol.
3) Then I proceeded to show you the stocks I intend on trading if we get a relief rally AND/OR which stocks to short if the rally fades. Stocks included: GG, GMXR, HK and JASO for the long side. Notice HK’s nice mini-bull flag that moved the stock over 40% real fast. Then I was amazed at how low JASO was.
4) Finally, I looked at some inverse ETFs that I plan on shorting on a rally. I’m already short SKF since my Vix signal to start searching for a rally.
Anyway, here’s my video. Hopefully it gets better along my learning curve. Beware! Its poorly put together.

I forgot to mention, i was look at the Dow’s critical support on the 5-day, which was something like 8066.
Oh, and DRYS is daytradable up to 15.
so, if Dow holds 8066 and Vix trends back down to the 60s, then we’d get a non-gay rally.
…and if you’ve noticed in the Vid, HK is a high-priority day trade on my list. It also looks good for a swing long. my target entry is Thursday near the close.

What’s that software that you’re using in the video?
i think regardless of what the FED does, it will still head lower by Friday. I think it will continue in that direction at least until we find out who the next US prez will be.
My Tuesday aftermarket is up. Will eventually put up Wednesdays earnings list. It is a long one. And with the FED talk, maybe it doesnt matter.
A lot of divergences everywhere. rally still lacking volume. waiting for final hour for velocity to pick up.

Hi Heckler… i’m using Flash and some powerpoint, and publish it with ScreenCast. ScreenCast now has a free registration with limited tools.

Hi Gwar… i made that vid in like 10 minutes. it was 130am in Hawaii, and I was like, i better get enough sleep to trade tomorrow’s possible super rally. I probably will use call-out boxes or narrate it when i figure out how to use this software. that vid was just to show you guys what i do every night before I decide to trade:
1) check the Dow’s support levels
2) Check the Vix on different timeframes
3) Screen for “day-tradable” stocks
4) Plan out an if-then-else pseudo-algorithm for trading.
… it took me less than 10 minutes to do all that!
