Fed to meet next week with talks of another half point cut. Right now, its best to stay out of this market because news will trump all technicals. Your guess is as good as mine, or better, and the market will not know how to react to the news. The only technicals that will work are the extremely short term ones. That means we’re heading to day-trading territory.

Bearish triangle wedge on the Dow on the 2-hour. look for sharp move.
wow, i’m getting so many mixed signals here. tough to say which direction we go, but at least I have two setups, one for each direction so far.

Well, again we are pretty in sync bc the LoBV said go short at 870, after being bullish for the hump in the middle of the day
got my EARNINGS list for monday if anyone is interested… ‘stucktrader.blogspot.com’. i know, the market will cancel out any good earnings… but will accentuate the misses too. have fun with that… i will still hold on to my FXI puts even tho may see some relief monday. wished i held my AAPL put… argh!!!

Damn Gio! That was a thing of beauty.
I wasn’t able to be at my computer most of today, but it doesn’t look like I missed anything.
Just checked LoBV, it only ended up being bearish for an hour, and turned bullish at 875.
The LoBV has worked quite well at identifying the bullish and bearish spats of today, and proved the point of why I don’t use it as a rote mechanical system, but as a strong basis for which to make decisions.
