The latest reports indicate 11 officers were shot, 4 dead and another 3 in critical condition. Officers said the shootings were done by two men, clad in cammo and and body armor. They were perched high in a sniper’s position.
One of the shooters is in custody, the other at large. Police have released this photo and are asking for help to apprehend him.
The Dallas PD have released this statement on Twitter.
UPDATE: The man in the photo released by the Dallas PD has turned himself in.

Anyway, he was a “person of interest” only because of the rifle and probably his race. The ACTUAL killer was a middle-aged white guy, just like most serial killers.
