Headed into Monday’s trade, keep an eye on the materials miner Stillwater Mining, seen on the first daily chart below, as a long idea on strength over $15. This recent pullback is happening within the context of a potent upside move supported by strong buy volume, which means it should be watched closely for the resumption of the new trend.
And on the short side, I like the major airline UAL under $42.90 to play for a gap-fill below, at a minimum.
