We have a nice Monday morning gap higher to kick off this holiday week of trading. With plenty of gains coming from overnight gaps over the past week, it has made trading all the more tricky.
Nonetheless, there are some intriguing parts of the market which I will cover throughout the day if this move holds.
For now, two examples of stocks I am stalking for longs are education/short squeeze play LOPE and one of the hot solars this morning: SUNE. Both have consolidated rather well since May, with price holding tight and retaining the lion’s share of gains from the spring.
