Confusing the Staples for Small Caps

The selling volume in the XLP ETF for the consumer staples is enormous today. I have been patiently waiting for the trade to unwind into May and perhaps June. Even if they flop around a bit more sideways, this type of selling after such a steep uptrend certainly smacks of an unwinding of a crowded trade.
