I bought a 3/4 position in $WEN. The fast-food franchise is a perennial takeover play, and inside The PPT you can find their top institutional holders, as you can with every other stock in the entire market:

The top holder, Trian Partners, is usually the name mentioned regarding potential buyers.
Rumors aside, the chart of $WEN illustrates that the stock has broken out above the multi-month trading range on strong volume. With earnings on November 12, I will likely trade around this name with the idea that we have seen a bonafide breakout that will lead the stock much higher in the coming weeks and months.
