Republicans vs. Democrats

Tomorrow will be a historic day for America. Every election in the future will be measured against the Mid-Term Election of 2010. It will be a tsunami, a hurricane, a flood.

Gallup warns “…this year’s 15-point gap in favor of the Republican candidates among likely voters is unprecedented in Gallup polling and could result in the largest Republican margin in House voting in several generations.”

It will be epic, and you want to be sure that your evening is not wasted by tuning in to some 3rd tier blog, or worse, Olbermann, or even worse, the thugs of smug, Stewart and Colbert.

The only real choice is to spend your evening with myself, Fly, and Jake Gint, as we endeavor to bring you the best Election Night coverage money can’t buy.

lmao. The money quote from that piece about Kneale (and what undoubtedly got his attention):

“Real journalists would not set foot in the doors of CNBC. Dennis, how does it feel to sell out and become CNBC’s clown, complete with a big red nose and goofy shoes?”

Good times though. Loved seeing my name on CNBC.

What happened to our headliner capabilities? Ah well, maybe they’ll have it figured out by the morning…

Anybody interesting in your neck of the woods? I know your big deal was the recent governor’s race… Our biggest race is not actually Paul v. Conway (for Senate) but Lally v. Yarmouth for L’ville representative. Yarmouth– the incumbent — is a gigantic trust fund commie, and we must unseat him, but Lally is a big time underdog… if Lally wins, it truly will be a tsunami….

Perriello! Obama and the DNC has spent a ton of money on him the last month and 2 tonnes over the last week. I don’t know why, except that he voted for ALL of the Obama legislation. Perriello has trailed Hurt by double digits for months. He is still trailing significantly. Obama was in Charlottesville yesterday stumping for him. It seems insane, with states like Ohio and Texas looking at re-districting next year, that Obama and the DNC are spending large on Perriello. Truly it doesn’t make any sense.

Maybe O’bama has a chippie at UVA?

Texas is a lost cause for O’bama, but he’s been in Ohio 12 times already this year, and he’s sent Michele there on her own half a dozen. Of course the Big He is also a regular fixture.

The Dems do NOT like losing Ohio, let me tell you… it’s real bad ju-ju for them.

Just wait til they lose Pennsylvania, though…. yeesh!

Am I the only one who doesnt care about these elections? I know alot of people that dont give a hoot. All I hear on this blog and twitter are about these damn elections.

All I know about politics is that the democrats thought they could do a better job and they failed. Republicans think they will do a better job and they will fail.

What is the constant truth is that both these asshole parties have contributed to the downfall of America.

So go ahead and believe republicans will make a difference. I see the NJ cancelling a tube under the hudson river by republicans as fail, even though the plan was riddled with union corruption set up by democrats, it was still in the right direction and would have created infrastructure jobs. All this while China makes 265MPH HighSpeedTrains. We cant build a tube to carry substandard trains aka New Jersey Transit.

Both of these parties including the third asshole tea party will, are ruining America. So go ahead and vote republican, or democrat, in the end it makes no difference when it comes to who can sink the ship faster.

I’m really tired of whiners like you who just throw up their hands and give up on the U.S. Why not move to China if you think they’re doing such a great job?

And here’s a bonus — you can smoke ’em if you got ’em. Just don’t whine about the gov’t online, if you know what’s good for you.

Pete, next time you start a home improvement project, I want you to consider going 25% over budget, and when you look at canceling the project rather than going over budget, be sure to compare your house to your neighbor’s house.

You’re right that generally politicians are narcissistic ego-maniacs, and they have nearly ran our country into the ground.

However, there is an awakening that has happened / is happening, due in large part to the internet. No longer can the Democrat Media Complex control the narrative. The public has ready access to the truth, or at the very least, an alternative narrative, and they are pissed off about being manipulated. To miss this great awakening would be a travesty. Could it fail? Sure. But you have to be a part of such a historic movement. If everyone has your attitude, nothing will change.

Does anyone doubt that the same wipeout will occur within a few years as the fickle American public shifts anxiously on their couches as the collapse of economic and financial stability continues under a Republican Congress? The liberal vs conservative argument is ridiculous as perpetuated by our incompetent and unethical leadership in the executive and legislative braches. They are spoiled siblings slinging sand at each other and neither side is able to stop the fight to actually do what is needed to right the ship.

The solutions to this mutli-faceted crisis will take time, and time is what politicians don’t have. WHat they have is easily accessible paper money, and they will all use it. Reps, Dems, they all know how to spend. Neither knows how to take pain, just like their constituency.

    Makes me fucking sick.

God, you guys are blind. Somehow my last two comments have not shown up, but blaming the dems or Reps is one of the primary fallacies that will keep this country diving into the abyss. THey are the same critter as you will see while the printing presses continue to roll and our debts continue to grow. The awakening you see/hear is nothing more than the whining you say you despise. If Americans really want change they will need to endure a paradigm shift in frugality. Most Tea Partiers are living off the governement tit they claim to depsise. Fallacies everywhere. Really patheitc.
