If the quantity and quality of this year’s Halloween candy haul is an indicator of things to come, I say the economy is on the mend! I have never seen the kids get so much candy, and of such a high quality.
Happy Halloween!
Jack-O-Lanterns on Woodshedder’s front porch.
Great carving! Somebody at Wood house did some pretty fancy craving.
With regard to the candy derived from the Power Dip System, I up over 9% since I started four months ago.
Let’s see, even with my simple minded math, that seems to work out to at least over 27% annually.
Hawaii, absent the ALKS debacle, the system would be up over 18% YTD.
I will have the monthly and YTD stats published tonight or at the latest Tuesday.
Interesting observation woodshedder. Do I smell a blog series about the Halloween Candy Indicator?
Nice pumpkins btw! Seriously, if you’re as good at designing as trading systems as you are at carving pumpkins, I think we’re in good shape.
Thanks Data! Bat was from a pumpkin carving book. Scary face was a combo design between me and my 4 year old. Leaves was all mine.
BTW, worked out the redundant trades things with the PDS. Will be publishing stats soon.
I too was marvelling at how much my youngest was getting. I ascribed it to his UPS Man outfit, which was a big hit in the neighborhood, which is populated with a lot of their pilots (and more importantly, pilot’s wives who swoon at that kind of scheiss).
Regardless, he tonned it, and I am not ten pounds heavier. When are you going to start electorally firing, btw? I’ve been on for two days now!

Right now.
