i really have no idea, but it certainly seems a stretch. i believe 39/8 leads to democrat controlled congress, and i think gridlock will be bad for business. thus, if gop grabs more than 39, i think the market goes into the crapper.
not that the current congressional situation has led to certainty for businesses, so who really knows?

Does it really matter? No. Congress and Senate will be in a gridlock. Next 2 years are going to be even worse than the last 2 because with all the bickering, name calling and political bs. The Fed has infinitely more power than the loons in Congress. I am just happy we have a president with an IQ higher than the average Southerner. I’d rather waste money on healthcare than on war.

NV: Reid (D) leans GOP, but Las Vegas is a corrupt town like Chicago, could be funny business at the polls
PA: Open (D) Goes to GOP
WA: Murray (D) to close to call, will be interesting. Could be a recount situation.
WV: Open (D) Should’ve gone to GOP, but Dem Gov is popular. Be interesting to have an anti-Obama Dem in Congress. Manchin could also possibly switch parties and join GOP
Summary: I see GOP picking up PA and IL, and hopefully at least one or two of NV CO WA
My call GOP has seats in the next Senate. Which should be enough to keep BO in check.

Spooky, the Dems outspent the Repubs. The Dems main big spender was the AFSCME. Keep in mind the unions can get all the foreign money they want (including Soros) and spend it as they wish. They also outspent the Repubs on ad buys.
