ADCT, DTSI, NTG, TSRA, WRC, and WWW have all received exit signals.

There are no other Power Dips to replace these, and thus, the portfolio will enjoy some glorious days in cash, until the next dip-buying period can begin.

This post will be updated after the open with a spreadsheet of all the final prices for the closed positions.

Well, the image resizer plugin is not working exactly right yet, so I will wait to publish the spreadsheet, as you all won’t be able to see all of it.

  2. Wood,

Do you have a post you can point me to that explains the Power Dip system. I am not looking for you to disclose the details but just some background on what the system theory is, what is it trying to do?

I quickly browsed some of your past posts on Power Dip and found some info but I still don’t have a good feel for what this system is trying to do.

Caveman, I’m not sure if I have a post that details it or not. Let me see what I can find.

  4. Even just a good general description would be fine of what the system is looking for and how. Not trying to get you to disclose any valuable details, I am just trying to get a better understanding of what the system does.

Caveman, the Power Dip strategy buys the strongest stocks measured in 3 time frames- short, intermediate, and long. However, it only buys these stocks when they are in a very short-term oversold condition. It will hold these stocks on average, for 5 days.

It is just a dip-buying strategy. However, just buying any dip won’t do. We want to be certain that the dip is just a dip, and not a freefall. Therefore the emphasis is on buying dips in the strongest stocks.

  6. Sounds good, that is kinda what I thought from the name. Thanks for the clarification.
