Outlaw Heart

I am going to start a “History of Rhino” series here, per the requests. Before I do so you should know that I grew up in a wealthy ass area, but both of my parents are self made, and so am I. I have never fit in there, and really rarely fit in anywhere, I also do not “play the game.” Since I was a little kid I have been giving the finger to doing things other than the way I want to do it. I think good grades are bullshit, memorizing shit for a test does not equal work ethic. Work ethic come from one working as hard as they can to master their craft. So the fuck that you went to an Ivy League school and then got your MBA? How much money have you made yourself or your company, and I am not talking salaries here asshole, just because you get paid does not mean you are productive, Lehman, Bear, get it?  I don’t want to offend anyone, but just know I have absolutely no respect for what school someone went to, or what company they worked for, unless they did something great with it, or for the company. Hate me all you want but that’s the way I am. I like Punk, Rockabillly, Psychobilly, Ska, Reggae, Country, Blues, and Classic Rock. I like American V8’s, and I’ll tell anyone to fuck off whenever I think it is warranted. I do shit my way, though I take advice and follow in the steps of those I respect, my partner and mentor @thedrbigboss, the great investing minds on here, and people who I think warrant it @thetapeguy , @The_Analyst , etc. Just a quick background so you can understand my language. I’ve got an Outlaw Heart, a modern day Viking.

At the peak today my personal account was up 2.4% but closed up 1.1%. Being in the green in any way is good though. What I thought was going to happen today did, but the correlation of QE priced in to the market wasn’t near as close/drastic as I thought it would be. At the end of the day, it didn’t really seem to matter, as the market shifted up after the sell off with everyone realizing the bivalve was right. QQQ closed positive and I look for it to move more tomorrow as the NASDAQ closed in the green, and should continue to be bullish into the weekend, unless there is some kind of negative news/event. After I get rid of that, I will hold on to AAPL, liquidate most of my other holdings, then add to HDSN and AABVF. Lastly, ZNGA is going to get fucking slammed when it releases earnings. I am going to be short as fuck on that one and I’m gonna buy a healthy amount of puts. I may look to add to my ZSTN short as well, I think that fucker only has about 3 months left before it gets “Corzined.” Speed Deadlift time folks.

Interesting. I look forward to future chapters.

  2. Interesting, we share a lot of the same core values, but approach them in a very different manner.

I guess I literally don’t care about the people you speak of. All of the things that you mention mean very little…degrees, cars, money, jobs…it’s all bullshit. Yes, we use those things to get by in modern society, but I view them as secondary to family, friends and respect.

I believe heavily in the concept of respect. I will treat people with respect and expect the same in return. If I don’t receive it in return, I take notes, and I NEVER EVER forget. It’s uncalled for and ungentlemanly…I take solace in knowing that the universe will eventually have it’s revenge.

I think that we get more of a pullback in the coming days. If the Q’s can hold 63-63.5 area, I will view that as a very bullish sign, and will look to deploy more cash.

Oh, great post by the way. Love these tales from beyond the market.

  3. The day laborers I pick up from the Home Depot have the worst attitudes now. They expect $15 an hour, lunch and tip. Make them move heavy equipment and they complain.

You rarely fit anywhere because of your girthy shoulders I reckon.
